Miguel created Enfermidade maquinal (Machinal infirmity) after a few conversations with Khaoula Ennahli and Luís Miguel (botelho) about their installation, in particular, and the whole dystopic future section of AI'topia.

The audio composition is an orchestration of sounds publicly available on the internet, intended to evoke feelings of a dystopic future in which people would be totally dominated by machines.
